The first project shown is inspired by the Japanese fashionistas of Harajuku,  represented through portraiture & pattern design, with the themes of style and multiculturalism through contemporary fine art. Created with acrylic paint and powerful colours, watercolour and markers. Conveying not only the power of self expression and individual style, the artist allowed insight through the subjects alluring eyes. Capturing mystery and emotion, left for you, the audience, to relate and interpret in your own understanding.

"YOU DID THIS"
The second project created through acrylic paint and textured mixed media techniques. Through two mirroring images of a young girl's first broken heart, representing both sides of heartbreak and love loss, reflecting her inner and outer pain.
The first conveying vulnerability, sadness and hopelessness of an individual's outer reflection to the world. As the young girl holds on to the symbolic broken pieces of heart on the ground, with the world around her; a blur of numbness.
The second is a reflection of her inner pain, conveying confusion and anger so strong, twisting her mind into self doubt and anguish, the need to scream and block out the world.

Both pieces of artwork, show the emotional self conflict created from heartbreak, so others can relate and understand, it is simply human nature. Which allows us to evolve our understanding of the strongest emotion in the world, love. Heartbreak prepares you for your future. You must break in order to heal, to learn and to open your heart for someone more deserving.
